Purpose of Dressing a Wound

We may think about the importance of Dressing a Wound for now,because this is very important to people that has a wound,the purpose of this post is to remind all Caregiver, on how essential Wound Dressing
is,specially for those Caregiver that has a Patient with Wounds,dealing proper way to take care for your patient,in comes to the wound, is very important,cause this may lead to good result and good health for the patient,and what is the meaning of good health,good health is all peoples desired,and to all Caregivers,good health for the patient is always playing the vital role,with all the best care that a
Caregiver provide for the patient,its often resulted for good,not only for the patient but for the Caregiver as well too.

Understanding the process of Dressing a Wound.

  Dressing which applied on the wound,which covers the wound,its served as protection.

There are variety of purposes on why dressing of the wound is essential:

*To help prevent further trauma to the wound
*Dressing is a Protective cover to protect the wound
*Prevent the entry of Bacteria
*Prevent Discomfort from temperature changes in the environment
*Controlled Bleeding
*Promote healing with some medicine applied on the wound before covering the wound with a dressing.

Pressure can be applied with the dressing,the purpose of the pressure is to control bleeding and minimizing the accumulation of the fluid on the wound,but take note: and always bear in mind that too much pressure applied to the wound that will result to insufficient blood circulation must be avoided,
appropriate pressure to the wound should be keep in mind often times,appropriate pressure that allowed the normal circulation of blood is always a must.to promote the appropriate wound healing process.

NOTE: All Caregiver must often times, ask the assigned doctor of the patient,on what to do, and always follow the Doctor or Medical Professionals that assigned to your patient, on what their instructions,for proper medications and treatments,for the patient.
