AMPUTATED PATIENT

     Amputation - is a removal of part of the body,such as foot,leg,shoulder
                           arm and hand,or the lower or upper limb,by means of cutting.


    
           Causes of amputation:

  1.   infection
  2.   diabetic
  3.  gangrene
  4. bone infection
  5. accident,this kind of amputation is an, unwanted amputation.
    some of this amputated patient are candidate for prosthetic body parts,or artificial body
    body parts,such as legs,hands,arms,feet and shoulder.or prosthetic of lower or upper limb.


   The responsibilities and task or duties of a caregiver with an amputated patient as follow:

  1. transferring maneuver,such as from wheelchair to bed or vice versa.
  2. assisting in feeding,depending on where is the amputated area,such as hands.
  3. clothing's
  4. bathing routine
  5. hygiene
  6. cooking 
  7. medication
  8. assisting the patient to wear the prosthetic body part,such as leg, arm, hand, and shoulder.
    or lower limb or upper limb.securely.
  9. helping in all the needs of the patient as a whole. 
  10. Preparing meals. 
  11.  Household task.
