MAINTAINING SAFETY FOR WALKER USER PATIENT AS A CAREGIVER.

This tip for caregiver,is a simple and practical method in preventing the
patient from slipping or any injuries due to out balance when using a
walker,this tip is for maintaining the safety for the walker user patient
in all matters,and at all times,as a caregiver,its your responsibility to
constantly maintain the safety of the patient.

Before going further into our topic, first,what is walker? Walker is a
walking aid for the patient to maintain the balance while walking or
standing,and walker is intended for the people that has limited ability
in maintaining the balance due to old age,or disability,such as amputated
leg patient, and has the artificial leg for walking,and unable to balance the 
body weight while walking,walker is suit for this kind of patient,in some
cases,is depending on the age,some youngsters patient that has been
amputated on leg due to some reason or disease or accident,most of this
amputated leg youngsters patient can mange to walk with the artificial leg,
and manage the balance while walking without the walker.

some of the old patient that has amputated leg and can stand with
the artificial leg, mostly can't manage to walk because they can't manage
the balance while walking,so this kind of patient needed a walker.

most of the walker user, is elderly or senior patient  due to some
ailment and limited to maintain the balance while walking,the walker
is the source of answer to be able to walk with a balance maintained,
standard walker has four footed frame,and stable enough to support 
the user to maintain the balance while walking, standard walker has
a small wheel attached on the both front legs,and the both back legs
has a rubber attached at the bottom of both back legs.

PURPOSE OF THE SMALL WHEEL ON BOTH FRONT LEG OF THE WALKER

Small wheel on both front legs of the walker helps the user to drag forward
the walker while walking.

PURPOSE OF THE RUBBER ATTACHED ON THE BOTH BACK LEG OF THE WALKER

Rubber attached at the bottom of the back legs of the walker controls the
dragging of the walker user,in pushing the walker forward.


Safety tip! For the caregiver to maintain the safety for the patient that uses
the walker while walking.
      1. Always stay at the side of the patient while walking either left or right.

      2. Help hold the walker on the top frame or near the handle where the
        patient holds. either your left or right hand, and the other hand left
        or right hold the patient back pants,this will help control the balance
        of the patient, and avoiding to much push and slipping forward due
        to excessive forward push of the patient,because some of the senior
        patient distributed their weigh forward by dragging the walker, and if
        not control the posture of the body of the patient, is risky to fall forward.
        so Keep the patient stand straight while walking,and keep the patient
        close to the walker by standing straight,while walking at all times.
      3. Stay alert in advance,avoid any obstruction on the way of the patient,
        specially the floor surface ahead of you both and the patient, avoid any
        uneven floor surface.

      4. Avoid any wet floor surface area.

      5. Always check the walker if there's any possible cracks in the frame,
        before allowing the patient to use the walker.

      6. Check at all times before letting the patient use the walker,for
        any loose bolts in the wheel or any possible damaged as a
        whole of the walker. Never let the patient use the walker
        if you see any sign of risk. 
         
Always at all times as a caregiver,maintain the safety of the patient while walking,
and this will help a lot to prevent any unwanted injuries that cause by falling or
slipping,check constantly the walker if there's any damage as a whole,before
letting the patient to use the walker, and if there's any sign of damage or risk
to use the walker,always call for a walker specialize to fixed it or repair the
