Live in Caregiver

A Live in Caregiver,is a Caregiver that Works for 24/7,meaning,the caregiver

will be staying at all times with the patient,doing all the task and duties daily,

there will be a day off for the caregiver,or called the weekly rest,in some

country,usually the allowed total hours is 26 hours,for the day off,and this will

Vary depending on where country that a caregiver is working,in some country

they've arranged the prefer day off, of the caregiver,when is best suit and

comfortable for the caregiver,but the total hours,it will be followed on what

is written on the contract signed by both parties,and this contract,are provided

and assisted by the agencies,that hired a caregivers,whether locally or international.

So it is very important to read very carefully,in any contract that to be sign,to be able

to know what is the right thing to do,and follow what is written,to avoid any problem.

The Live in Caregiver,will be constantly with the Patient,doing all the necessary

and vital task and duties in daily routine,such as preparing meals for the patient,

giving bed bath for bed ridden patient,regular bathing for patient with limited

mobilities,whether disabled or elderly,cooking,house keeping,maintaining good

hygiene for both the patient and the caregiver,assisting patient for dressing,wound dressing,medication,transferring the patient from wheelchair to bed or vice versa,or

transferring patient using lifter (using lifter applies to a heavy weighted patient,Paralyze

patient,or any transferring of patient that can't be maneuver with a manual or the usual

human strength by the Caregiver ) assisting or guiding the patient while walking,medication,

daily treatment,and maintaining the safety for both the patient and Caregiver at all times,etc.

all this task mention is the usual care giving task,and there's sometimes an additional task and

duties for the caregiver,and will be instructed by the doctors,nurses,and physical therapist.
